We are a Mongolia-based operator building a small, deliberate portfolio rather than a long catalogue. Ten journeys, each with one clear idea behind it, run by guides, drivers and horsemen who live in the regions they take you through.

How we work

  • We would rather run ten routes properly than fifty on paper
  • Nomadic families are hosts and partners, paid directly, not a photo stop
  • We publish honest chance levels for wildlife instead of promising sightings
  • Group sizes stay small enough that a family can host us without strain

What we care about

Mongolia involves distance, weather and animals, none of which are controllable. We tell you what is certain, what is likely and what is a matter of luck, before you book.

Camps, horsemen, artisans and host families are paid directly and booked repeatedly, which is what makes them willing to keep hosting travellers well.

The most common mistake on a Mongolian itinerary is trying to cross too much country. We will push back on a route that is mostly driving.
