Day by day

An indicative route. Every departure is private, so the order, the pace and the overnight stops can all be changed around your dates.

Arrival transfer and the handover of every child’s Mission Passport. The first badge is earned before dinner, so the week starts with a win rather than a long drive.
Overnight: Ulaanbaatar. Meals: dinner.

A short transfer, then fire building, knots and how a ger actually stands up. Children help raise the one they will sleep in.
Overnight: Gorkhi-Terelj. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

A working morning with a herding family. Milking, separating cream and making dried curd, which most children end up liking more than they expect.
Overnight: Steppe camp. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Riding lessons scaled to age and confidence, then traditional archery in the afternoon. Both are graded so the youngest still finish the day with a badge.

Felt making from raw wool, and a small object each child designs and takes home. A slower day, on purpose, in the middle of the week.

Marmot and raptor spotting during the day, then finding direction by the stars after dark. The badge that children talk about afterwards.

A second educator joins the group so the age range can be split into two paces.
